Portobello Sailing & Kayaking Club is located just off the Portobello Promenade. The club consists of a dinghy park where members can store boats and where in time the club will have its own dinghies, kayaks and rescue facilities at which point it can start offering rental and sailing / kayaking courses.

To get to the club, make your way if possible on foot and if not by public transport as parking is quite limited in the nearby streets. The club has no parking facilities.

To store a boat on the yard, you must;

1. Be a paid up member. (please see our membership section)
2. Have paid in advance for boat storage.
3. At this point you will be sent a key for the dinghy park.

If you want to deliver a boat to the club you must:

1. Drive the boat to the bottom of Pitville Street shown by the red circle on the map.
2. Walk to The Beach House (a café) - marked with a red triangle on the map - Here staff will give you a key to open the Pitville Street gate onto the Promenade.
You will be asked to leave your details and a £10 deposit.
(Note. The Beach House is open between 9.30 and 5pm)
3. Walk your boat to the dinghy yard.
4. Please do not bring a car onto the promenade
